Since this is a car audio question...and since it's even written in the title..I've moved this to the car audio forum

I really don't know what it is you want. I looked at you diagram. It is correct in the sense that you don't have your sub running to the battery or anything but it is so elementry that I cannot imagine that a confirmation would send you in the right direction... Do you have other questions about the setup? YOu don't appear to have shown any concept of grounding or remote turn-ons for the amp. You haven't described how you intend to run signal from your computer to two seperate amps.....

i know about all the grounding and remote turn ons, i was just wondering what people thought of the components i intended to use. for instance, i had someone look it over and tell me that it would be better to run a dc-dc power supply for the computer and then dc power with fuses for the lcd. also, he told me to use a crossover for my audio out of the computer into each amp to be able to route all the signal correctly.

your friend apparently has either thought this all through or has done a carpc before.

your title leads no one to believe that you're asking about the PC part of this project though...

A DC-DC PSU is most definately the smarter way to go as it takes care of amp turn-on/turn-off.

An EQ will give you the higher voltage levels you're going to need for the RCA ins on the amps as well as allow you to properly split the signals.

You do realize that that antenna alone will not get you GPS and/or wireless....right? You will need an OEM reciever to go with the antenna and you'll need a wireless card with an external antenna port as well for the wireless.

Very true, but remember how little information we are getting Jan... The invertor may be a necessity depending on the components of the computer system. For all we know he's got a 400watt computer going there and a CRT monitor on the passsenger seat...

IVory, to really give good advice, we need the DETAILS of the equipment, not just generic photos. The equipment you use will effect the choices you must make for other things, like PSU and Fans and Eqs, etc.

my motherboard is the jetway with the geode nx 1750 1.4 duron that runs at 25 watts. the lcd screen is a 12" ibm touchscreen that i need to check the power specs on. i'm not sure what hard drive i will be running yet, but probably a 120 gb, 7200 rpm, 3.5" drive. i will be using a cdrw/dvd drive eventually for the system. i found a power supply that includes a startup/shutdown controller and is 160w, it is dc-dc. i was told that i can wire the lcd in dc also because it has a power brick for the adapter. i just have to put a fuse in the connection so that i don't blow the lcd. any other details needed?
