[Plugin] Shade

Hello everybody,

as Dave already pointed out I have written a plugin for CFE. I hope it's only the first and will be followed by many others :-)

This is my first contribution to such a project, so please be indulgent.

Anyway:
Shade is a quite simple plugin, it gives the user a possibility to interact with his Mac while still being able to quickly switch to other functions of CFE. It reduces CFE to its sidebar, so the rest of the screen can be used as if CFE wasn't loaded.
That way you can, for example, have Parallels with a navigation software running in the back. Now, if you want to switch to it, you just press the "Shade" button and there you go.

You find version 0.1 of Shade in the current CFE-Package. It should be compatible to both left and right side users. If you encounter any bugs, just let me now.

I will try to add some screenshots shortly, though I don't promise anything.

Alex

Alex,
Thank you for your support of CFE and sorry I took so long getting it into the installer for you.

Good stuff! Lets me use Nav and CFE at the same time. First FE that allows this.

I don't suppose there is a way to just incrementally jump to the next plug-in with the key bindings, is there? Since I'm using a Powermate, mapping, say, a click-right to cmd-2 for the shade plugin and a cmd-1 to get back to the itunes plug-in uses up a lot of functions. It would be nice if I could do something like cmd-right arrow to jump from one to the next.

Not a bad idea, but not at this time.
