already done, download the Infill installer and it will add a G4 button to the main page with all these functions...

OK
I downloaded cf1.20 and installed over an old cf install on my infill G4
I was asked to reboot
then
Installed the "Infill installer" as per Dave's instructions on the previous post

Clicked on the exe on the desctop and then on "try" for the licence

it took me through the setup
on the last page I click on "save" I confirm the "overwrite" and then........nothing happens
The only other choice is "cancel" if I click on that CF exits
I checked the installation files against the "cfinfill" manual install file and the installation seems to be ok
Im excited to try this version!
What gives?

no need to have reinstalled... there was an issue with 1.20 that caused the database to corrupt, this does not seem like an Infill issue...

try to uninstall all plugins and Centrafuse, then manually delete your Centrafuse folder...

Then install and setup Centrafuse... once Centrafuse is setup and running properly, then install the CFInfill plugin and it should work...

The 1.40 update will be out soon which fixes many issues found in 1.20, hopefully tomorrow...

Im using an HTC Kaiser phone
it has an "internet connection sharing" setting that automatically allows the computer its connected to, (usb or bluetooth) access to the internet through its connection
CF asks for a dial up connection, in order to configure internet access is there a workaround?
BTW i can go online using a browser outside of CF

Hi Spiro, if you use the ICS feature of the kaiser, you have a second LAN connection. (or the first, if you not have another LAN) That works only if you have installed Active Sync 4.5 (always required for WM6 Devices) and - i think - a membership with active sync.
in the Internet connection settings there must be set the setting use LAN. (I think that is by default)

maybe - if you need a DUN (dial Up conenction) use the old modem driver of the HTC Tytn.
than you must set your own network provider APN into the network settings. have a look to the forum of http://xda-developers.com, there you can find all what you need.

but i think, CF can use an existing LAn connection to bring you up to Inet?

Infill radio doesnt work!

I didnt bring this up before, because I was solving other issues but I was never able to get the radio working on the G4 with the G4 plugin
The dll is there and its configured correctly on the settings screen with "line" input enabled but when the radio application opens I dont hear anything
PS if I click on the (!) I get a message "no radio info available" or something like that, so I dont think CF knows which radio to use

How about gestures? are they supposed to be in CF1.20 or as an add on?
I read mentions of CF v1.30 but I dont know how to get my hands on it

Also when I install the belkin bt dongle for phoco, which drivers do I install?
is there an installation manuall? I tried phoco's website and its beem down intermittently, and some links dont work!

Finally I have come across a very nice free tool which I use with my home theater PC, it solves stand by and usb issues, I think it can be used on the G4 to solve the bt wake up issues (havent tried it yet)
here is the link http://www.xs4all.nl/~hveijk/mst/indexe.htm

Thanks

H Spiro:

about G4 and Radio:

do you read that?

http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthre...ht=improvement

(I use CF1.30 and the plugins, for radio, maybe it works with 1.20 too?)

What I See too, you habe to Line In regulators in your audio System configuration. one for playback, and one for recording. Is one of that wrong and not muted than it´s not work. sometimes i play with the wrong regulator, no radio playback works through i start G4 new. (start over)

For bluetooth with Phonecontrol:

the best features you have, when you install the latest Widcomm / broadcom drivers.
When you have luck, then is with your USB Stick this drivers included. the best version is 5.0.18 (i think) with the standard Bluetooth (that comes with Microsoft XP) you can use only minimal features of PhoneControl.

Thank you for your link with the USB hibernation Problem.
thats a another good way:

I enabled (un-muted) the line input on the sound card and the radio works but, how do I make CF control that?
I have to go into the sound settings every time I want to stop the radio or listen to something else.

Also please take note of this thread I just posted
