Infill G4 Centrafuse install
Hi,
I've installed Centrafuse on my Infill G4. But the FM radio isn't working.
The FM radio is working ok with the infill front end software.
So I think it's a driver issue.
Any ideas ???

I dont think its a driver issue but more of a software compatibility issue...

infill g4
I think the two are the same. But thats a other discussion.
Did anybody get the FM radio working in centrafuse ?
Even better where are the Infill G4 radio drivers ? I have the drivers but don't see any radio driver. The Radio is working good with the infill frontend software. So there must be a driver installed...
Can a developer from Centrafuse answer this ??????

a CF radio module will need to be created for the Infill G4 radio hardware...
If they have a development object for their radio hardware it would not be hard, or atleast some specifications...
I will contact them after the upcoming release to get details...

David,
Thanks!
I can send you the radio (.dll files) drivers. Or you can download all drivers for the G4 system on:
http://www.cartft.com/support/driver...rivers/infill/
But I don't know what HW component it is.
I'am willing to test your drivers if you want ..

Then I start up centrafuse and minimise it. Then I startup the infill radio and select the radio channel. I've setup a fake radio in the centrafuse setup. So when you press radio in centrafuse the radio audio from the infill radio will be given. And if you choose mp3 music the radio line is muted.
Because the G4 unit is always on you have only to do this setup/sartup once.
P.s Did you have setup the bluetooth car kit succesfully ? I'm getting a dot net error when i start up the phonecontrol setup wizard.

To Newbie
After you minimize the CF and start the Infill radio (with th einfill frontend), How do you get back to CF? The Infill Radio frontend does not have a minimize option.
Thanks in advance for your help

A RadioModule has been created and it's being tested now... We are also working to build a small plugin for the brightness and tilting...

That is excellent news! I, like many, love the modular style of the Infill G4, but also love the ease of use of Centrafuse. I believe it is a far better solution for use as a front end on the G4 than StreetDeck, and is light years ahead of the default infill application that ships with the machine. Currently I'm jumping between infill for the radio app and Centrafuse for everything else. To have the radio now function would make the app complete. To have the screen tilt and brightness controls as well?......now that just makes it all the more better.
