New Release, Centrafuse 1.12 (New Navigation Engine, HQCT, more)

Centrafuse 1.12 is ready for download. This version includes a new navigation engine, full HQCT support, integrated MapPoint 2006 support, and more...

Go to the website for download information:

http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads

You can view the release notes here:

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cent...ase-notes.html

Here is the list of remaining known issues:

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cent...wn-issues.html

Please test the XM resume from hibernation issue. I was not able to reproduce it, but I did improve the XM code. This might be fixed.

David,

Is this meant to support incremental update? I had the pre-release 1.12 installed, and it is not recognizing the 'real' final 1.12 is available.

Any workarounds, to avoid needing a full re-install please? Thanks!

EDIT: Actually, the System Info screen shows that my current version is 'flagged' as 1.11. (Although it is the pre-release 1.12). So, the updater technical should work, but it doesnt. <shrug>

I had to do a full install because of the amount of changes... There was over 800 file changes/additions/differences...

I could not build an update that large...

There will not be another navigation engine switch for probably 2 years, so this should not happen again...

Sorry for the trouble, but it shouldn't happen again so you can look forward to fast updates to this release and all near future ones...

david

Seriously? Damn. I will need to run a thorough XML comparison. Bummer. Someone buy me ExamXML once and for all, so I can do this properly.

The layout changes to the nexus layout and fonts change, however, none of the main graphics don't change.

doesn't work:
main menu
media player
library browser
radio
dvd
mixer
tools
notepad
cfig

works:
settings menu
web
traffic
calc
callander

don't know:
XM
Weather

keeps onyx skin:
ODB
TV
cam

and the plugins no longer work:
syncfs
stopwatch

strange... There were no XML changes that I thought would affect the skin...

I did make a lot of changes this release so I must have overlooked something, sorry about that...

The plugins should work, I will test all the ones of the website to make sure...

Yeah, they all do except for stopwatch and syncfs. I neither show up in the settings or set buttons menus.

edit: I have a question,
what tag info does this new version use? Before it would read artist name - song title.extension. now it says: unknown artist - artist name - file name.extension

Ok folks, updated for compatibility with 1.12 Check my signature!

David: It broke the skin for a few reasons... one of them was simple: You added a weblink.png icon. Because it was not present in my skin icons folder, then CF would not load the Nexus skin properly. (removes all background images etc... it's strange).

awesome thanks man!

Ok, another issue. I don't know if it's the software or if it's me:
I can't get CF to recognize my wireless network as an internet connection. It only wants to recognize dial-up networks.

edit, your new update doesn't put the png file in, that or I downloaded the update "too quickly" . That also fixed the filename issue as well. As well as not being able to go online with my wifi.

edit2:
Wasn't there also a nexus blue skin for odbii? Mine's still coming up with onyx

Back to the update though, This is much more stable than the last one. I enjoy it. Thanks!
