The MapPoint plugin will be included in all 3 versions of Centrafuse...

It does not include any maps, you will have to purchase and install MapPoint 2006 yourself...

The source code for the MapPoint plugin is even included in the SDK download as a navigation example...

Cool, that's what I was hoping you'd say!

I knew you'd dropped the interface code out there as an example, but I didn't know if the whole Nav module would be missing from anything but the top end SKU.

there is a cost associated with distributing just the engine as well... We are looking into having another product that will be close to the XE price which is basically XLE without the maps...

This is ok with Destinator, but they have to make sure the map providers are ok with it...

This is because per all major map providers rules, you are not supposed to use PND maps on a computer... But we are still trying to work this out and offer it...

This is also why I added the ability to create navigation plugins in the SDK and give out the source code to MapPoint plugin... We at Flux make no extra money in selling maps or navigation engines, this is not our business... We simply want to provide as many free navigation solutions, as well as we resell Destinator as our integrated solution because they are the only company with a good SDK that will work with smaller companies right now...
