No song titles on XM
I just put a fresh install of centrafuse on my new P4 carputer. My XM works great on the stock XMPCR software. When I use Centrafuse, it sounds great but no song titles were downloaded. Some have weird random numbers as song titles, but most are blank.
Anyone else seen this?
Also my ELM327 isnt being recognized... but thats for another topic.

yup. That was one of the first thing I tried. Should I try installing Centrafuse over its self?

not sure, never seen this error...
I really do plan to look into XM after this release, it is about time to wrap up the remaining issues and give it full attention...
The new navigation engine took my focus away from it, but it will be completed after this upcoming release...

Alright, Ive been trying to troubleshoot this issue. Its got to be something in the code of centrafuse. I tried other software, other drivers... and all are working except centrafuse.
I tried doing a repair install = problem not fixed
An uninstall and install centrafuse again = problem not fixed
Im very surprised no one else is having this same issue! Is anyone else using a xmpcr with this new version 1.12 of centrafuse?
Are you having any issues with the titles of the songs?
Thanks for everyones input.

I'm using XMDirect, but I've had issues with song & station titles for MANY versions now. Never fully blank or garbage, but station and artist titles will be random such that 41 assumes the info from 82 or somesuch.
v1.12 hasn't changed those symptoms for me...

I too as well have the same issue - no titles. Roadrunner shows titles on current station and others mimic mimic current channel. The only one that seems to work right is streetdeck.

Any possibility of adding possibly the icons of the stations and artist, song titles and PAD data?
Thanks!

PAD is "Program Associated Data"; looks like it's similar to "sub carrier" stuff on FM where there's additional data about the program.
I can't find a lot of info about it in terms of XM 'cept for people complaining about various head units not showing it. I THINK it's in addition to Song Title, but I found one reference using it as a synonym to Artist/Track info.

PRAISE THE LORD someone else is having this error!!
I've been whining about it over on the Fluxmedia forums but I'm getting the unfortunate "can't reproduce this error" answer. As with all of you guys, I am also ONLY having the issues in Centrafuse. In both the stock PCR software and XtremePCR, there are no issues with this.
I really hope this gets resolved sooner than later. CF is not worth money to me unless XM works, since I use XM probably about 80% of the time I'm in the car.

Alright, I uninstalled Centrafuse and installed the 1.20 version. Still have the same issue... I agree, XM is 90% of my use of Centrafuse as well. Until it is fixed Ill use something else. Seeing the titles is the only reason I use xm over regular fm radio.

I have been seeing channel icons for many of the prior versions. When you say channel icons, you mean the logos of the channels up in the info sqaure on the top right, correct?
