New Release, Centrafuse 1.13
Centrafuse 1.13 is ready for download.
Download from the website:
http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads
Please take note that many plugins have been separated from Centrafuse and are now available on our download page. We have also created user manuals for all available plugins. All plugins and there user manuals can be downloaded at http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads.
You can view the release notes here:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cent...ase-notes.html
Here is the list of remaining known issues:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cent...wn-issues.html
Please post bugs in the following thread:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cf-b...1-13-bugs.html
We were required to force an uninstall of the previous version because we had to remove Weather from all Centrafuse default installs. The Weather plugin is a FREE plugin and Flux makes no profit from this plugin. It is made available as a FREE download from our downloads page.
We also decided to seperate most of the plugins from the main application so users can only install what they need. This will make Centrafuse more stable and faster.
Also check http://www.fluxmedia.net for our commercial release date and updated XLE pricing.

You might consider a 1-2 line description of each module on the module download page.

I'll be the first to say, installing CF has now become a true nightmare
I don't think separating the plugins was a good idea at all. As far as the weather icons issue, you were already providing them through a free install. Anyone could freely install CF as a demo/trial version, or not? No charge involved.
Anyhow, thanks for the newest version, I will be testing it out, THANKS!

Seems like it would be better to keep them in the install package and simply have a Complete / Custom install kind of thing..

I like the package separation..
9/10 People with CarPC's are hackers and like to tinker. If you cant work out how to install Centrafuse, you probably don't stand a chance of building a CarPC.
Having the Plugins Separated gives me the choice of what i want. I like it.

LOL it's true. I never said I couldn't work it out though... I just said it's a nightmare. (I'm exaggerating, you know that, but still...) Instead of downloading one package and installing it all at once, now you have to download 8 packages, and perform 8 individual installs. That's far from convenient.
I like the other poster's idea of having one package with a CUSTOM install option! Just giving FLux some feedback on how this could be improved. I will still install CF even if it required manually moving files back and forth. Oh wait, I'm already having to do that!

I was going to upgrade and I thought what are those plugins are for! Now I know I have to download them separately.
How exactly do I re-install? I know last time when I upgraded from 1.11 to 1.12, I had to re-install but I saved the DATA folder, which it preserved all settings. Should I do the same thing?
Thanks.

Have you guys gotten the weather plugin to work? When I try to install, it tells me there is already a newer version installed.

sivart: my Weather plugin install worked. I did completely DELETE the old Centrafuse folder, which was still there after uninstalling it.

The installer issue was most likely because of product codes accidently being set to the same in a couple of the installers... I will get them fixed tomorrow or monday...
The Weather plugin seperation was not our choice, we were told to do this and we complied...
As for the plugin seperation... We felt this was the best way to go because 90% of users that email support do not use most of the plugins, if so possibly 1 or 2 of them...
Making them seperate makes for updating them easier and not having to update the main application, as well as many other benefits from our side...
