CF 1.13 & Wake from Hibernate (possible reason! - Any Ideas?? :) )

Hi All,

When my PC wakes from hibernation, if centrafuse is running and is left on the MEDIA item i get the following error:-

Setup Error

Failed to load resources from resource file
Please check your Setup
OK

when you press OK centrafuse closes.

If i Hibernate my pc whilst i am on the NAV item it resumes from hibernation fine.

Any one else have this problem?

is the visual running or is it showing album art?

update to problem, i have now seen this error when i have resumed whilst on NAV.

I have the same problem, its hit and miss when it happens. I suspect its got to do with Phone Control but i am not sure. John

do you use the hibernate funtion of centrafuse or do you hit the power button of the pc?

I've had the same problem in the past, same thing, hit or miss. I'd say 1 out of every 10-15 times out of hibernation, havent been able to figure out why though. I can live with it though for now, sooner or later I assume someone will find out what is causing it...

I get it with the visualisations on, visualisations off it works fine.

Hi all,

I have figured out why this happens. I am using a Bluetooth GPS which is assigned to a COM port. If I set the port in the settings for NAV to no port I never experience this error.

If I set it to one of the fixed PC com ports I don’t get the error.

If I set it to one of the Bluetooth com ports I get the error.

Maybe the Bluetooth com port is not ready immediately after resuming from hibernation?

Any tips.. XPort may fix this.
