Some Handy Setup Tip

Hi guys , i've been here a while and some of these have been mentioned before but some are new ,

Ok so my tips are as follows,
Booting up as shell,
Like most ppl i have centrafuse running as the system shell with the warnings and all that turned off. heres the "reg" files

NOTE: THIS IS SET TO WORK FOR MY SYSTEM NOT YOURS (ITS A TEMPLATE TO WORK OFF OF)
Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"AutoRestartShell"=dword:00000001
"DefaultDomainName"="CAPUTER"
"DefaultUserName"="Administrator"
"LegalNoticeCaption"=""
"LegalNoticeText"=""
"PowerdownAfterShutdown"="0"
"ReportBootOk"="1"
"Shell"="\"c:\\test2.bat\""
"ShutdownWithoutLogon"="0"
"System"=""
"Userinit"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\userinit.ex e,"
"VmApplet"="rundll32 shell32,Control_RunDLL \"sysdm.cpl\""
"SfcQuota"=dword:ffffffff
"allocatecdroms"="0"
"allocatedasd"="0"
"allocatefloppies"="0"
"cachedlogonscount"="10"
"forceunlocklogon"=dword:00000000
"passwordexpirywarning"=dword:0000000e
"scremoveoption"="0"
"AllowMultipleTSSessions"=dword:00000000
"UIHost"=hex(2):6c,00,6f,00,67,00,6f,00,6e,00,75,0 0,69,00,2e,00,65,00,78,00,65,\
00,00,00
"LogonType"=dword:00000000
"DebugServerCommand"="no"
"SFCDisable"=dword:00000000
"WinStationsDisabled"="0"
"HibernationPreviouslyEnabled"=dword:00000001
"ShowLogonOptions"=dword:00000000
"AltDefaultUserName"="Administrator"
"AltDefaultDomainName"="CAPUTER"
"AutoAdminLogon"="0"

notice this line "Shell"="\"c:\\test2.bat\"" , this tells the system to load my batch file as the system shell, seems i want to run some linksys threads too i add them in this batch with the centrafuse. heres the code

Quote:
echo off
cd\
cd program files
cd linksys
cd Wireless-G Notebook Adapter

start NICServ.exe

start Gcc.exe

cd\
cd program files
cd Flux Media
cd Centrafuse

start centrafuse.exe -nowarning -nolimit

i created another reg file to restore the sytem shell to exporer here it is...

i placed these 2 reg files to the C drive and assigned the the restore shell to a button in centrafuse, so that when clicked and restarted, explorer loads up. (please not that in centrafuse dont enable "run as system shell" for this too work).

another handy tool is the creating a "breifcase" on the networked carputer and moving all your music to this, So what does this do??? , simple put it will tell you what files needs updating on your pc using your music on your home pc as a template. BUT! , even when you move all your new tunes to your carputer you still need to update the database in centrafuse. Now this is where VNC comes in , you can set up VNC easly on centrafuse and it will always run in the background when clicked (once assigned to a button / or place in the batch file), simply remote into the carputer (like PC-anywhere) and you have full control over it - without leave your house.
Now you can go to to your "Tools" Button and click Library , etc...

this is very hardy for me as i have a laptop in the car and it runs of the laptop battery while i do all this.

any more tips?
