FM Reciever in centrafuse

I purchased the radio extreme, for it is said that this is a plug and play with centrafuse. I have very poor reception, volume level goes up and down. Also I have to mute the radio to hear it. anyone have a fix for this? Or is this just not a great reciever. Any other recomendations?

Is there any other options? anyone even get this to function correctly?
I can somewhat get it to work in radiator. But very distorted in centrafuse.

hey,

I've got a corrado too, and have been doing the install now for 2 days solid. I'll try and get some photos online later today. Unfortunately with the corrado the center console has a big curve on it so you can't get a double din space free very easily.

I got rid of the ash tray and cig lighter to free up some dash space. I also moved the HVAC panel lower to make the screen fit as high as possible without losing the vents.
