Does anyone have Mappoint working with a GPS reciever?

I have it install and the plugin comes up fine, however, the GPS won't connect. When I go to mappoint outside of CF it picks up the gps fine.

Thanks,

John

The MapPoint plugin was mainly an example of using other navigation engines with the SDK and in Centrafuse... The source code is available in the SDK download...

I have tested and the GPS should work... Is the COM port set properly in Navigation settings?

The GPS code in the standalone is complety different than the integrated MapPoint plugin... We also have someone that should begin development to improve this plugin to make it a more viable solution...

I will get the source and debug through it. I didn't realize it was there.

Thanks,

John

The gps is fine but whenever centrafuse comes back from hibernate the gps receiver does not reconnect. I don’t know if it is a quick fix by just adding a file to refresh the gps port but if you close and open centrafuse over again the gps starts to work again.
