I have reported these issues to Destinator and they are looking into them...
Try the XPort like suggested and let me know if it is better...
We are not having these issues and we are testing on M10000 with 512MB of RAM...
I think most of this is with GPS receiver compatibility, we are looking into including a GPS mouse with XLE to solve compatibility issues...

if u dont mind me saying , i believe the m1000's cpu is no way near enough fast enough to run centrafuse
i decided to get rid of the m1000 so i could run centrafuse how it was ment to be run ! on a good processor..
i wld suggest maybe upgrading to the new centrino Mini-Itx boards as they are quite cheap now and a lot faster
good work on the software btw ! its very good and Gps works spot on for me and even worked with my m1000 but postcode lookup took 4eva

I too am having this problem. I'm running a 1.8 ghz turion with 512 ram. My CPU is still pegged at 100 in Centrafuse when I go into tools and select info. I just dont understand it. For reference I'm using a new bu-353 that works in iGuidance but not destinator. I've also tried routing it through xport3 to no avail.
Please help.

I swapped the 512 for 1 gig ram today in hopes that possibly it would help to no avail. Destinator is still showing 100 meters behind.

I remember to have had the same problem.
If you set the phone control to OFF, does it work better ?

Just tried reinstalling the USB Proflific serial port drives, using Xport 3, and upping the baud on the GPS to 38400 and still got the same problems. The voice breakup tonight was considerable and at times the map started to lurch around as it seemed it could not keep up.
I tried pausing the music to see if it affected the voice prompt distortion, but it didn't seem to at all.
I am not using phone control at present either ... so any other ideas

After what I'm reading here, and the experience with no GPS-delay in other programs, it seems to me that the problem must be an issue in Destinator itself, or the GPS-device compability.
I'm running on an IBM Laptop - Thinkpad R60 with dual processor and 1 GB of RAM. Don't think the hardware should be the problem. Haven't had any chance to try with another GPS-device, I'm using the old Haicom 204 with USB-cable. But it works like a dream with other Navigation programs.

Please try another GPS mouse if you have one... I am in the process of compiling a list of receivers that have reported issues...
I do believe this is simply a Destinator compatibility issue with certain GPS receivers...
Beta results seem to come reverting back to NMEA mode in 4800 baud...

I swapped GPS units to the pharos 500 unit shipped with Microsoft ST&T. It helped but it still lags at least 50 meters. David, maybe you guys should buy a bunch of GPS units and test them out to figure out which is best and contract to ship those with Centrafuse or offer it from your store. That way you could also find a GPS unit that is reliable with Destinator and one that has a very quick fix. Hell you guys should also start offering PC's designed for Centrafuse like Streetdeck does.

The BU-353 is an decent expensive GPS mouse based on the Sirfstar 3 chipset, I suspect it is destinator not being able to cope with the EGNOS/WAAS data etc...
Any idea when the Destinator guys are going to look at this because the GPS was is a must have for me, and it just doesn't work at present.

I have this reported Destinator and they are looking into it...
Is this in both 3D and 2D mode?

Both modes are affected by the lag, and when actually navigating the sound of the voice prompts breaks up even with the music stopped, and the background flickers occaisonally between day and night skin when the voice breakup is occurring.
