Could it be because the way the 3D mode is angled? I don't see any problem in 2D mode. I've only find it to be a problem in 3D.

Well my Holux wired GR213 lags by 1-2 seconds in 3D mode. 2D is fine.

The way they draw 3d mode is crappy to say the least. Why don't they just tilt and distort the 2D view like Virtual Earth does. It looks much nicer!

I am also having this problem with the final release 1.2 centrafuse - the position isnt updated regularly on the display, there are periods where it doesnt update at all (that can last maybe a minute) and then it will update to the correct position, or it will update to a position 100m behind me etc

It used to work fine with 1.12 with the same hardware (core duo cpu, 512mb ram, sirf-iii bluetooth gps mouse)..

hope you guys/destinator can sort something out ASAP - atm I kinda regret purchasing centrafuse as nav is clearly one of the 2 most important features of a carPC and its currently unusable around town..

I have Destinator looking into these issues among a few others, there a handful of reported navigation issues that need to be fixed... I hope to include fixes in the next update...

I am working to help Destinator reproduce all these issues in house, then they can be fixed... I have been waiting a bit in line for the development team at Destinator... They have the issues and I hope to begin working with them closely to get everything resolved very soon...

It will all be fixed and released in an update...

david

why don't the Destinator crew come on here and see what problems they are causing. They might even be able to improve their product with our help
