Use bluetooth to mute music, but not transfer call to handsfree

I'd like to use the bluetooth setup to mute the music (or pause it) when a call comes and let me use the headset for the call. I don't have a microphone on the pc, and I really don't want to install one in the car. I have a Treo 650 and the Belkin bluetooth adapter (which I've had up and running well with a SE TE637 using Phoco in CF). I already know that the Treo doesn't work with Phoco but I'd like to see if I can get it working to do this. I also have CF XE so I have the full license for everything that I need.

if you get it to work with PhoneControl it will do this, it's the only current way...

you don't have to have PhoneControl send the audio through the PC, you can use it just to display the caller ID and mute the music, then use your headset... still need a phone that works with PhoneControl though...

I got this working last night so the phone call mutes the music, just need to try it with the headset now.

I can't get it to work yet with the bluetooth headset. I think there are some settings in PhoCo that allow it to release the bluetooth connection once the call is made but I haven't gotten those to work. I'll have to play around more.
