CF & AutoEnginuity Scan Tool

Does anyone know if this works. I know any ELM based scan tool will work but I haven't been able to contact AE regarding this.

Nope, unless you use the AE software and open it as an embedded application in CF - the dongle itself is propietary, so it won't output to anything else than AE software

To make use of the integrated OBD-II display inside CF, you need to use the inferior ELM-based interface

Hopefully Dave and the team will at a point in time support devices like the AutoEnginuity, as well as the Mongoose series by Drewtech....

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks!

It was wishful thinking.

Now if they could make a plug-in for my Haltech EMS for on the go tuning with the turbo, I'd be a happy camper. Hahah.

No problem - I am sure the Guys will implement wider support for more interfaces at a later point in time, as for what it is designed for the ELM-based devices do a good job - especially as a tie-in for CF.

Problem is, if we start looking at a large number of parameters simultaneously, only the more serious devices can supply the data at the required speed - the ELM-derivatives cannot handle the bandwidth.

Well, let's wait, it will come
