Centrafuse video file extension issue

I am not able to get centrafuse to list my music videos in the m2v format. And this is a format supported by Media Player Classic. Any I have any solutions or having this ordeal? Thanks

I was thinking if any one know of a program that can auto rename file extensions with a batch capability.

I believe all you need to do is add the .m2v extension to the settings file. I don't know exactly where, it's been a while since I messed around with that.

Thanks fatejd for your input. I tried doing that, but it won't let me add it. I used the other alternative I posted secondly. I found this little neat proggy called Renamus. It changed all my 3000+ .m2v extensions to .mpg under 20 seconds. Plus, its a freeware. Highly recommended. Heres the link: http://pcwin.com/Utilities/Rename_us/index.htm.

All you do is open the System\config.xml file and add a |m2v to the video extensions at the top of the file...

You can add and support any video extension that a codec is installed for and working in windows...

Thanks david. I was looking for this earlier, but grew impatient and decided to rename extension. Great front end by the way!

Correct!
And it works great, you just have to rebuilt your files
