here's CF 1.46 with SatRadio 1.461 (12/15/07):
Code:
40:42:96> startup 40:44:65> SatRadio_CF_Event_refreshText() 40:44:85> SatRadio_CF_Event_applicationLoaded() 40:47:59> CF_pluginShow() 40:47:59> startupRadio() 40:47:60> satPowerUp(0) 40:47:60> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:48:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:48:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:49:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:49:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:50:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:50:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:51:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:51:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:52:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:52:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:53:65> satPowerUp(0) 40:53:65> satPowerUp(): Opening COM1 40:53:68> CF_pluginData(VISIMAGEPATH): C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\Plugins\SatRadio\XMImages\generic.png 40:53:70> CF_pluginSetVisImage() 40:53:71> satLoadList(): startupRadio() failed 40:53:78> CF_pluginData(VISIMAGEPATH): C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\Plugins\SatRadio\XMImages\generic.png ... ... 41:02:50> CF_pluginData(VISIMAGEPATH): C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\Plugins\SatRadio\XMImages\generic.png 41:02:56> SatRadio_CF_Event_applicationClosing() 41:02:56> CF_pluginPause() 41:02:56> CF_pluginPause(): Sending MUTE command 41:02:56> SaveSatCurrentAudio(): False 41:02:62> CF_pluginClose() 41:02:62> satPowerDown() 41:02:62> CF_pluginClose(): Calling CF_setMixerMute(true)

XMtest works fine so its not hardware related... i dont think at least...

Would you like logs from CF 1.20 or 1.46?

Well i see what you me re requiring CF 1.46, i cant generate a log with CF 1.20....... grrr... but XM actually works with CF 1.20/Satradio.dll 1.461, save for some hibernation issues

Yeah I can only go off the latest version so please use CF 1.46. We can get it working no problem as long as you can respond between debug versions released...

New version posted with some attempted hibernation issue fixes, and more debug logging so we can find these last remaining issues... See post #1 for details and download link...

In all 3 cases, it's not good news. Still no station information refreshing without manually pressing the channel.

I see the problem, a flag I have that says "sattelite radio is playing" is not getting set, can you run the latest version I just posted, and then post me not only the satradio log, but the CF error.log as well? We are getting close to have you back up and running...

its not the XMPCR problem, it stays XMdirect

EDIT:
in an attempt to get it somewhat working from hibernate, i installed up to 1.46.... still cant get it to do anything. is there an update that doesnt include sirius stuff?

this is what the XM log gives me:

This log says it can't open COM1. Please check CF Settings -> Navigation -> Last page set navigation engine to "None". If you do not do this CF will open COM1 on return from hibernation.

The issue with XM/Media playing after hibernation has been fixed (at least reported fixed) in one of the latest releases (se epost 1 for details). Also can you explain the following, I do not understand exactly what is happening:

i get channel 1, 130, 143 (doesnt actually work, but shows up and refreshes) and 247....

is there a way to manually refresh the xm channel list? the one in settings doesnt do anything.... & my signal is 94% and T is 0%.... what does the T mean?

To manually refresh the station list you can click on the stationcount label at the top of the satradio list view...

Wow i cant believe i had been overlooking that... i read that NAV might be interfering but since i didnt have NAV com port on i assumed i was in the clear..... ok, works in CF 1.46 now, still having hibernation problems.. will try your new satradio.dll.

bingo!! it works. thank you

one thing to note, however, in order to get it working after hibernation, i have to switch to media, then switch back to XM. it then works after a few seconds. this is something i can definitely live with though

i am attaching the log anyway because im sure you're interested.

Thanks for the quick replies. Helps get right to the issue. I think the next one will work, but it is possible it may take a few more tries, since I made some pretty significant changes to the resume code. See Post #1 for new update, hopefully this one does it...

No problem.

You nailed it man, it works perfect. As soon as it came back from hibernate i had XM going within few seconds.

Attached again is the log for your reference. Same process as the previous two tests.

Thanks for your help, i'll keep testing and let you know if i find anything else.
