First bug report...hope it's not something that's been thrown around here for a while.
Running Centrafuse 1.47 (registered) using a Sirius SC-C1 and an MJS interface box (by the way, SWEET!)
Sirius works great but, for some reason, it doesn't always update the current song playing across the top. If you're in the Sirius screen, the song listings (for each channel) are accurate as Sirius reports them...it's the scrolling name across the top that doesn't always seem to update.
If you change channels, the scrolling name updates to the new song but, while doing nothing and staying on the same channel, when Sirius goes to the next song (and the song listing down below changes) the scrolling name doesn't seem to want to update.
I don't know if it's a factor but, I'm using the Onyx skin that came with it.
I'm a Carputer newbie but, I gotta say that I tried a BUNCH of front-ends before settling on who would get my money. I put the system in this weekend and Centrafuse was an absolute breeze to install and configure! Beautiful product! Thanks!
-Greg
Please post your satradio log (see top of post #1 for details), and I can look into this for you.
Any other Sirius users out there experiencing this issue?

np, Question 1:
When song changes, does the main title not update only when you are not in Satellite Radio screen? If you are in the SatRadio screen, does the main title update ok when song changes?

It updates down in the channel list but, not the main title across the top.
Doesn't seem to matter what screen I'm on.

Smeesseman,
No pressure, just curious...have you been able to duplicate my problem or does this appear to be something specific to my installation?

Hey Scott! I just installed 1.47 and had an idea...
I know the dialog's getting crowded, but it'd be awesome to have a button that saves the current artist/track/time/date to a file for later recall. MANY times I hear a track that I like, and I have no way to write the name down short of trying to write on my palm while driving.
THANK YOU!
More later!

Was in the car tonight, looking at the Sirius channel list and had an idea.
Right now, for each channel shown, it lists ...
ChannelNumber - MusicCategory - ChannelName - Artist - SongTitle
Not surprisingly, it often runs off the end of the screen. Is it possible in the configuration menu to select which of these you'd like to see?
I pretty much just listen to Rock (I'm sure most folks have their favorite category of music) so, I don't really need the information. Also, having the channel name makes the channel number a bit superfluous (at least for me). If the channel is listed as "Totally 70's", I don't need the "7" there also.
I know some folks would like as much information as possible that's why I'm thinking it would be nice to choose how much detail you'd like to see.
Just an idea.

Oops... - No audio from XM after resume from hibernate
Noted:- XM is current page at hibernate
- "Loading" does NOT appear after resume
To fix:- Exit XM screen with <- arrow
- Touch XM again
- Note "Loading" message appears
- XM resumes after screen repaint

Hi again, and apologies for the delay in looking into this, we have been very busy preparing the new bluetooth solution and I was away all weekend. I will look into this the very first chance I get. Once again, my apologies to you.
