Problem
No station names appear, or any words at all for that matter. All that appears are numbers. The current song playing does not show up either.

Example
Station 141 - 88827167
Station 142 - 329
Station 143 - 901-222-0987 (sometimes it looks like a phone number)

I know other people are having this problem as there is an entire thread dedicated to it.

It seems as though the problem occurs with people who have the same XM setup as I do (Mp3Car USB adapter with XM Direct).

Awesome, this problem has been fixed! Sorry for the long delay in testing, but it worked great. Thanks

Good to hear. On another note, do you have a problem with not being able to adjust XM volume like posted by another user previously?

(about 289k)

There's a "hang during resume" within the last 5 minutes of that log...

Sorry man.

I haven't noticed, as I control my volume with my head unit. I will try and test it today.

Sorry man.

Found it, same problem, different spot. Should be cleared up now...

When you say "hang", do you mean it locked up CF?

Just as a check, I never had this problem, but I also don't have it now. I can control CF's volume from the UP/DOWN/MUTE buttons just fine while in the XM module.

Cool! I'll pull it and get it installed.

Sorry, my bad. I was tired and not thinking about phrasing. No, CF was fine, just the normal display and audio trouble in the module.

Some babble to checkpoint...

Resume seems solid. I've had 6 power cycles with 1_208 and it's fine.

Then some quandaries...
  • I'm having dropout issues, though the Terrestrial signal shows 90+ (Sat is about 30%). Is the switch from S to T manual? I always figured that the receiver did it on it's own, but maybe not?

  • Just to make sure that you don't lose sight... The top line of the plug-in still shows the static channel number & name. We'll get scrolling titles back up there at some point, right?

Thanks Scott!

Sorry, have been extremely busy at work the last few weeks. Are u still having issues with dropout? I looked at this in the code it doesn't seem like the code has anything to do with reception, or signal switching, etc.., I could be wrong though I did not look at it that hard...

No porbs, I figured you were busy, just wanted to make sure that you didn't ferget about us.

Yeah, still have the dropouts. I'll see what I can find about the receiver auto-switching from S->T.

Go back to the paying gig... we're mucho fine out here.

Sirius / XM Update

Just an FYI to everyone, Sirius coding began last week and is coming along. Should have something for testing by the weekend (I know, that's been said before, but this time it should happen). XM Bugs should be mostly fixed, except for the "list not populating all the way" bug for which I have not been able to reproduce. Thanks everyone for your patience...

XM channel info action

In the XM plugin, if I click on the XM channel info Centrafuse goes to the music library. Shouldn't it take me back to the XM plug-in?

Second question: is there anyway to configure what shows up where the channel info is currently? I'd prefer to have the current playing XM song title or maybe the artist displayed.

Thanks,
Dalen

Not sure if this is only me, but when I'm playing XM radio and press the |<< or >>| I expect XM to change to the next(Previous) station but it doesn't. Is it suppose to?

FYI..I have the latest update from the first post.
