There's no config option but the Artist/Track is supposed to be there. This functionality got lost when XM got taken out of the core of CF and became a stand-alone module. Scott knows about it and it'll be back.

Those buttons (and the pause button) are traditionally for moving through the buffer if you're buffering XM, but have no function if not.

Previous/Next channel could be interesting, but then the buttons would do something different on the XM screen than they do on the Media or Radio screen.

The header information will come back and all the buffering code will be added back in, which is what the bottom play controls function with...

I will get the top header from going to music library when playing XM fixed, was this with 1.40?

I haven't tried 1.40 yet, but I know that clicking on the header doesn't take you to XM in 1.20.

I personally would like the buttons kept as is for buffering rather then changing the channels.

I didn't read the whole thread, I know...I'm lazy, but what hardware are you using to get Sirius? Are you just using the MP3Car XM USB or am I missing something here? Thanks in advance!

PS: Sorry if the question is a little off-topic.

Hey Scott!

I just installed 1.42 and posted up a list of stuff in the bugs thread, David asked for me to copy one thing over here:

Niggles
  • The XM scroll line (top line of display) doesn't need the XM channel number and station name. With that in there, it's WAY too much text and tends to push the Artist name starting point off-screen.

Thanks!

Another one Scott;
  • When I first installed 1.42, SatRadio was fine, (XMDirect, COM1, Line in). I hibernated, then after resume, the SatRadio setup was set to XMPCR. This only happened the first time out of a sleep/hibernate cycle.

    You may remember that this happened once before while the split module was in development.

    It "feels" like maybe the module knows that it's the first time loading so it writes to the XML file? i.e., to upgrade to 1.42, I exited CF, ran the updater, loaded CF, reconfig'd a couple of modules, then let it run without a restart. So, the SatRadio module hadn't actually been through a shutdown/startup cycle.
