You may remember that this happened once before while the split module was in development.
It "feels" like maybe the module knows that it's the first time loading so it writes to the XML file? i.e., to upgrade to 1.42, I exited CF, ran the updater, loaded CF, reconfig'd a couple of modules, then let it run without a restart. So, the SatRadio module hadn't actually been through a shutdown/startup cycle.
Do you happen to have the log from when this happened? If it happens again ship me that log... In the meantime I'll still have a look. Thanks...

Niggles- The XM scroll line (top line of display) doesn't need the XM channel number and station name. With that in there, it's WAY too much text and tends to push the Artist name starting point off-screen.
Thanks!
OK, it's on the todo list...

Scott,
Wow, great to see some XM activity in CF finally!! Kudos to you for all your work on this.
I wanted to test it out to see where XM is in CF these days. I have a couple issues.
1. Running CF 1.43 in Windows XP, CF will not unmute my XM's input to my soundcard to start audio when I start the module. If I go into Windows mixer, I can see that it's muted. If I manually unmute it, audio is there. So in XP, CF won't unmute my soundcard input. Further, the input that my PCR is plugged into (S/PDIF-In on my Creative Audigy 2NX) is not listed as a choice in the XM settings. Not sure if that would help or not. In the earlier versions of CF when XM was still integrated, I didn't have this problem, and I was using the same soundcard.
2. Running in Windows Vista Ultimate, sound DOES unmute. But it will not re-mute For example: If I start by listening to an mp3, then go to XM, the mp3 will pause, the XM audio will unmute correctly. But, if I try to return to the mp3, it will start playing but XM will NOT mute. The two sounds are output simultaneously.
Item #1 I think has to be an XM thing since it worked fine with CF before, but #2 might be a CF issue... not sure.
In any case, thanks for you hard work in getting XM back into Centrafuse!!

Version 1.430, Compiled for CF 1.42/1.43+
* Removed channel # and channel name from main title
* Added Channel # to subtitle label, underneath main title
* Added channel name to header in listview of SatRadio screen
* Improved main and sub title text updates on station changing
Dude... THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this! It makes the look MUCH cleaner!
One bug... Looks like you lost the updating of the terrestrial percentage number. The new channel number is there, the Sat % is there, but the T % is missing.

Do you mean that even the percent sign is missing? Or is just not updating? If the percent sign is missing, what resolution are you running? I am not seeing any issue with my terrestrial signal % on my end...

I assume you are running in un-buffered mode since this is the only case where cf mutes/unmutes the line. Does everything work ok in buffered mode? In buffered mode, audio is recorded from the line and written to the pcm device, in this case cf does not mute/unmute the line... Let me know if buffered mode works for you, and I'll look into this with David after I hear back from you...
Asside from that, I send the XM device the mute command when the line gets muted. Even if CF is unable to mute the line, the xm device should itself be muted. Can you post me your log file? See Post #1 for log file location...

Yeup, the percent sign is missing - only the "T" is there.
I'm running at that weird "not quite" 800x600 resolution. I can't remember the exact numbers. I take it you're at a full 8x6? I'll give that a shot in the morning.

I see it now, I was using the Aura skin for testing, now I switch to Onyx and I see what you mean. I'll work something out for the next update...

Cool.. Does this supersede whatever David has bundled into the CF_144 update?

Scott, thanks for the reply. I'm just going to focus on XP for troublshooting purposes right now b/c I had that working way back when. That being said, I get no XM audio regardless of whether I'm in buffered or un-buffered mode. Let me know your thoughts on that once you've talked to David. And again, I'm using a USB Creative Audigy 2NX, for your reference. Also, my PCR has the digital audio output (S/PDIF) mod on it. That shouldn't make a difference though, because again, old versions of CF with XM worked fine with this soundcard and PCR.
Ok, about my log... I went to get it for you this morning, and my "Documents and Settings" folder will not let me in!! It says access denied!! There is no reason this should be happening, I've never been locked out of it until today. Any ideas why that would be? I rebooted and tried again... no luck
Ok, I am going elsewhere on the forum and net to try and figure out why I'm locked out of my Docs and Settings folders, and once I can get to the log file, I'll post it for you. In the meantime, I'll also wait to hear back from you on your ideas for my sound problem.
Thanks,
Nola

load SatRadio and then minimize Centrafuse, load the mixer, and see if the sound input is properly selected in the Windows mixer...
if it is not, then try to select it manually and see if it works...
Also what is set in your SatRadio settings under the input source, Line-In, Mic, etc...?
