Centrafuse 1.30 Beta Update and Infill Support
Here is a BETA release of Centrafuse 1.30.
There is a readme.txt file, simply extract all the files to your C:\, or extract the files from the "Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse" folder to your Centrafuse installation folder.
The progress report of 1.30 shows what has been fixed:
http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=1661
Here are the remaining known issues:
http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=1660
Here is the download link for Centrafuse 1.30 BETA:
http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads/CF130.zip
Please report any issues with memory consumption, CPU load, or any other problems...
We also added support for the Infill G4, including full Radio support, a seperate plugin for Tilting and Brightness, and a Remote Control config file.
Download the CFInfill plugin:
http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads/CFInfill.zip
There is a readme.txt file, please extract the files to your C:\, or extract the files from "Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse" to your Centrafuse installation directory. Also the files in "WINDOWS\system32" must be copied to your Windows\System32 directory...
After you have copied the Infill files you must load Centrafuse and change your Radio settings by going to Settings\Radio and choosing Infill as the radio device, also you must choose LINE as your "Line In Device". You will then need to go to Settings\Button Actions, find an empty button or one to replace and click Set, then scroll and select Infill. This will add the Infill plugin to your Main Menu, which gives you tilting and brightness control..

Two quick issues I noticed after messing with it for 5 mins...
1. phonecontrol no longer opens. When I start up CF, a phoco dialog pops up and gives some exception error saying it was closed. If I try to go into phoco setup, the same thing appears.
2. USB and CD HDD playlists still get screwed up very easily! This one is super hard to reproduce, but I have it happen pretty much everytime I insert or eject any CD or USB media. The count is wrong, and it forgets what is in there, sometimes reloading it twice or more.
The phone control hibernation problem was my only real gripe about 1.2. Any way to fix it on this beta?
Edit: One more thing... I noticed that the taskbar takes a while to reappear after exiting CF. Before, it took a while to exit, but the taskbar appeared right after exiting. Now, it closes fast, but the taskbar is still gone for a few secs. Neither way seems correct
edit 2. i use a powermate to change the volume and am now seeing the volume dialog appear when i change it...didnt do it before and i would prefer it not to. is this a new setting?

I can fix the taskbar issue easy...
The phonecontrol update was to fix the hibernation issue... Something probably simple with the file update, I will email Zoran to find out, but the issue is supposed to be fixed...
The CD/USB count I can get fixed if you can build a case to easily reproduce...
1.30 is not finished and why it is not available on the Tools online Updater, this is just initial testing, and updates I needed to make available early for the Infill code to be tested...

The ZIP file is missing some updated libraries. You can the full PhoCo update here.

These files restored phonecontrol... however, the hibernation problem is still there. "failed to load resources..." etc
Also, clicking the green accept dialog still sends my WinMobile device into a weird state forcing me to soft reset it to be able to place calls again. I have confirmed this error with 2 WM5 phones, and one WM6 phone. All experience the same issues.

I have some issues with FM radio functionality on G4: I set up everything as prescribed (I think); when I select radio in CF the antenna gets out and I can tune to the desired frequency, but even with the smallest volume setting (1 step from zero) the sound is very loud and there is an echo. What could I have done wrong?

go to mixer and lower the line-in slider under levels, it is probaly too high on your current setup...
also make sure the line-in in the Output of windows mixer is muted, not muted in the Recording section this will not work, there might not be Line-In in the Playback section, but if there is mute it...

Thanks David, it works now! The mic was on in the recording section (which explains the echo) and the master recording volume was set too high.

Bug
Launch CF
Set CF in "full screen" mode in Settings.
Save
Go to windows Desktop (using "minimize" button)
Change Windows resolution
Go back to CF
-- CF isn"t in fullscreen anymore.

The full screen reads the resolution at startup of Centrafuse, so if you change resolution at minimize it will not read it until you restart...
minimize was added for quick access to desktop, you probably shouldn't change resolution with Centrafuse running...
I could add code on restore, but not sure how often this scenario will happen...

i couldn't really tell from you list of fixed/remaining issues, but has the silabs radio not working after hibernation/standby issue been resolved? also, it seems as though the slight hiss after listening to radio and then reverting back to media has been addressed, is this correct?
finally, any word on when we'll be able to get 'most recently added' and 'most played' playlists? i really think it would be convenient, because as of now, when you add a bunch of new random songs, theres no convenient way to get them on one playlist.

silabs is still on the bug list, I plan to look into it soon...
the hiss should be gone, glad that worked for you...
I have not scoped out what it would take for the auto playlists, I will look into how much this would take...
