Centrafuse Beta 1.40

Centrafuse Beta 1.40 is ready to download. This includes most of the fixes and updates that will be ready for the official 1.50 release.

Download the installer and make sure when it starts the path to extract is set to your Centrafuse installation location, it defaults to "C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse"

http://www.fluxmedia.net/downloads/CF140.exe

You can see a list of everything added and fixed since the official 1.20 release here:

http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=1661

The remaining issues in 1.40 are below:

http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=1660

All you need is Centrafuse 1.20+ installed. This includes a new Skin, Aura... You will simply need to change the Skin in General Settings after installing the update. It includes the plugins Weather, OBDII, and Email... The CFEmail needs to be installed before you install this update if you use it...

There are updates and fixes for Weather, OBDII, and Email included...

There is a System\throwscrolling.xml file you can use to edit settings for the finger scrolling on list views. There is an issue with large lists that we are working to get fixed, it does not properly slow down...

There are very basic gestures included, up/down/left/right... This can be enabled from System\gestures.xml, there is a True/False flag at the top as well as settings to determine what actions are performed... We are still working out some issues with the gestures so just very basic support is in this release...

The latest XM plugin is also included, it is fully functional. We have to get the buffer code added and working, but this will be in a SatRadio plugin update soon...

Here is a quick update for a mixer display issue, this is a single centrafuse.exe that must be copied to your "Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse" folder, AFTER INSTALLING the full Centrafuse 1.40 Beta...

will this new skin remain thru 1.5? I'm getting anxious to skin cf again & if this newest seems to have some longevity then I'll start there, or do you think I should wait for 1.5?

The skin has not changed in quite awhile, the new skin in 1.4 follows the same model as the 1.2 skin...

no reason not to start skinning...

I just had a problem this morning.

Last night I installed 1.4 and was playing with XM. All was working fine. I came back this morning and noticed CF "loading" the day skin. It never finished loading, and froze on the loading screen with the XM app open.

I had to restart the computer, and after reloading CF, the XM plugin was missing!

Any idea what happened there??

Is there still a directory "<CFInstallDir>/Plugins/SatRadio" ? And XM is missing from Settings as well? I probably can be of little help on this one, David will chime in of course...

It is no longer in settings. There is a blank item that does nothing when clicked. I also do not believe there was a directory either. Ill go check.
