another volume option?

ok, i'll try to explain this as good as possible, but not sure i will succeed

right now there are 2 options to change the way the volume is controlled:
1. when i mute my volume and then press 1 time "vol up" it plays allready loud. so the first press it puts the vol to like 30%, then 40, 47, 53, ....
2. when i mute my volume and press 1 time "vol up", it still plays very silent. so this time it goes like: 5%, 12%, 20%, ...

so now comes my question: ist'n there a way to change the volume lineair, so it plays everytime like 5% louder when i press the "vol up" button?
so like:
press 1: plays at 5%
press 2: plays at 10%
press 3: plays at 15%
...

hope u understand what i mean...

Greetz

hmm, not sure where to find that option :s
maybe it's called different?
anyway, i clicked on normalization or something, and now it seems to work well...
will have to test some more though. normally next week there will be plenty of time to test... in case it turns out not to be how i like it, i'll let ya know...
