I have no idea if this will help or not, but when using XM in SD, if you have the Windows Playback Mixer open, you can watch and see the SPDIF In channel's 'mute' tickbox get checked and unchecked as you switch in and out of the XM module in SD.
Oh, also, when we last left it, even in Buffer mode, when I go to Media while having XM audio playing, the XM audio does not mute when I start an mp3. The audio output is simultaneous.
Thanks.
plan to look into it and get something out to try on the next update... other than the SPDIF unmute issue, keep your XM issues in the XM thread so Scott can look into it...

Oh yeah I know... I was just posting about the SPDIF issue in here since it's more your area than Scott's.
Thanks.

Dude, EASY COWBOY. When he knows something, he'll tell you.
If I could PM valium, I'd shoot a bottle over to you, but until that technology is available, you're going to have to make an attempt at good old-fashioned patience.

I have looked through it and not sure what was happening... many of the errors look like the navigation engine is loded twice... are you running shell? not sure why else the nav would give these errors...
make sure to try the latest SatRadio from the SatRadio thread, it should fix some of your XM issues...
when you hit Change Maps can you take a screenshot so I can what is displayed?

David, what version is the demo? I downloaded it approx. 2 weeks ago. I'm having problems with the media player in regards to resuming playback. The albums that were loaded (playing) before shutdown don't reload when the pc/centrafuse is started back up. This is coming from a complete shutdown and startup, not standby or hibernate. I've gone through this twice so far. After I first noticed the problem, i uninstalled centrafuse, searched and deleted any remaining centrafuse files, re-downloaded the program and reinstalled it. After all this, I still encountered the same problem. Also, the problem doesn't occur immediately, it takes a couple times of starting up and shutting down for it to start. And, oddly enough, out of the blue, sometimes it will actually load as it is supposed to.
I've also had problems with playing an album or song...instead of playing the song or album, or artist that I have selected, it will default to playing an entire genre, and not necessarily the genre associated with that particular artist that I'm trying to play.
Any suggestions?

check the first post in this thread, there is a download link to run the 1.46 update, it will install ontop of your current installation... it should fix most of your issues...
the trial download will be updated once testing is complete on the new version, it will be 1.50...

I've had a few problems after upgrading to 1.46 from 1.40.
1) When changing mp3-tracks it often stutters for the first ~2 seconds. I've never experienced this problem with any earlier version.
2) The navigation stopped working. I'm using a SIFR GPS-receiver (USB-connected). I'm able to enter the address etc., but it never finds any sattelites so the navigation starts.

make sure the navigation settings have not changed, try changing your COM port to something else, saving, then changing it back...

I have tried switching back and forth between NMEA and SIFR. I believe the COM port is correct (COM3) - pretty sure I saw it in the device manager.
