Hey Guys,
Be a bit more positive
David and the guys are fixing the new phone-control add-on, which will probably come in 1.48 as a beta phase. 1.50 should give us a stable update, with even more smaller bugs solved.
I have been playing with CF for a long time now, and purchased it as soon as the licenses became available, and it is doing a very good job - small issues are to be expected, but the great news is the support and R&D is tops.
No, I am not affiliated with CF at all, just enjoying the product, and realizing it's not perfect, but the best out there, with even more enhancements to come.
Enjoy.

This is the most active this forum has been since the days of 1.0 release... no way is interest being lost. Especially with the new phone module coming out.

I've already bought it.. Too me it seems most of the community has bought it. Sales might have died down now interest has been lost.
I sure hope i'm wrong.

For those of you that wanna look for Conspiracy Theories around every corner, David hasn't logged on to this forum since the 12th, or the Flux forum since the 19th:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/members/veetid.html
http://forums.fluxmedia.net/member.p...astposter&f=16
Over on the Flux forum he posted (on the 18th and 19th) that he's working on the phone installer "next week" which would be this coming week.

In addition to the problem of Destinator lowering the wave out too much when the navigation lady speaks (can be fixed by the settings.xml file), has anyone noticed that when the Destinator engine is loaded, the resume from hibernation times increase alot? After resume, my screen will be all black (only a small box with the mouse pointer is shown) for 8-10 seconds before everything is fully loaded and functional.
Other small annoyances with Destinator:
1) Can't enter/mess around with destination when vehicle is in motion. Maybe there is a way to bypass this for users who want to? EDIT: found fix here http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/1027820-post15.html
2) The piece of text that shows the next turn is too small and hard to read.
3).Net Framework error box pops up once in a while when I try to disable the Destinator engine from Settings.
4)Centrafuse locks up and is not responsive (sometimes) when I click on "Where to" or "Menu" when vehicle is moving. Can fix this by rebooting, or putting the system to hibernate then resume.

Nah I kidnapped him and I'm keeping him in my basement chained to a computer. I throw him some food every time he fixes a bug.

Bet he is wishing he left more bugs in the previous release!!! You had better let him out for a decent meal once he gets the new phone control software working ... but not before!

I have an update on the "NAV volume not ducking the music" bug. I had said this before:
Quote: Originally Posted by midiwall

Once I started increasing the NAVSOUNDLEVEL, the ducking stopped happening. So what I'm getting now is that "110" is actually "10" units LOUDER than the current music, which lets the prompts be heard.
But, my guess is what you wanted to happen was the music to duck, then the NAV prompt to be a given level, then the music to fade back up. That WAS the cycle when NAVSOUNDLEVEL was set to 8, but it's not any more.
What I noticed this morning is that ducking _IS_ working on MP3 playback, it's NOT working for XM.
