Ok, even the basic html version ( https://mail.google.com/mail/h/?zy=a&f=1) of gmail wont load. Just a minor annoyance of not being able to check my gmail, so no big deal.

You could always just link to FF or the full IE from CF... I run FF, though the internal browser is nice 'cause it's designed to be touch controlled (favorites, dedicated scroll buttons in the top bar, etc).

There is a much better way to check your gmail. Use the built-in mail application to do the work for you. It even supports IMAP, so all your mail will be synced properly, and it will be displayed in a car-friendly format (unlike gmail webapp). Google the terms "Gmail IMAP" for all the settings and instructions. Many people blogged about it when Google enabled IMAP on gmail, so I'm not going to bother repeating all of it here. Enjoy!

Few days shy of a month since David even bothered to check the boards. 1.48 had better be rock solid.
If i wanted no support for months on end i would have gone with a free product like RoadRunner.

He has been active on the Fluxmedia forums over the last few days. He says he finds out today if the bluetooth vendor has completed the final adjustment to the BT stack. If they have, we'll see 1.48 today... if they haven't we're going to start begging David to release 1.48 w/o the final BT stack. In any case, he said the installer for 1.48 is completed and ready to go, and he's just waiting for this final BT adjustment, which he says he'll know one way or the other about today.

Question... are you actually using the CF internal app with GMail, either POP3 or IMAP? I can't get it to work...

Cool, I'll give that a shot this morning. I'm pretty sure thats how I have it setup, but I'll check through it.
Thanks!

Well, that's how I had things config'd but after re-re-re-entering it, I'm running! Thanks for making me do it again-again-again!

NEW BUG
- If internal EMAIL application is the default active screen at hibernate, UI will be frozen on Resume. Clicking on screen only responds with a "ding" sound (not the stock CF click). Only recourse is to reboot.
Doesn't seem to make a difference if the application is properly configured and active, or is not configured at all.

Update...
System will hang on resume _anytime_ Mail is loaded. 100% repeatable.
e.g.:
Boot PC, load CF, load Mail (i.e., enter Mail application), leave Mail, Hibernate, Resume, Frozen
vs.
Boot PC, load CF, do not load Mail. Hibernate, Resume, All's Fine
EDIT
Update Update..
This will not happen if email doesn't see the network. i.e., loading the module but hibernating before it checks email will NOT cause the hang on resume.

I hibernated my carpc today with the mail app running. So I'll see if it freezes on me from resume when I get home from school today.
I have my mail configured as described in coffeejolt's tutorial, but it didnt show any mail this morning when I loaded it up. The app is setup to check mail every 30 mins, but is there anyway to "give it a kick" and check for mail when I want? My internet is wifi based, so not always on.

Nope, not that I've seen... I just have it kicked down to check every 3 minutes.
There are a couple of things I'd like to see in the email app, I'd never used it until now and now I'm kinda' addicted to it. My car now has it's own email account.
