Thank you David!

David,

I just want to thank you so much for this program. even though I paid for it that isnt enough of a thanks so that is my reason for posting this.

I am also a (or was) a Streetdeck user which is also a great program. The reason I switched is the support just isnt there and things take forever to get done. I love the program and when I bought it as a preorder over 2 years ago there was nothing like it. But as it seems like it is a stall, and even though it meets 80% of my requirements I wanted something a little more geared to my uses.

The nicest part for me the is the GPS volume control. I drive a noisy diesel truck and changing the volume constantly is annoying. SD has had a mod for that in development of about a year i think and the guy that was making it dissappeared.

The program overall is very fluid, runs much faster (than SD), has very cool features, super complete, love the wifi search incorporated in the console, the user support is immaculate, the skins are plentiful (although i really like the defualt skin), and I cant wait to get into my truck everytime so i can use CF.

I plow snow with my truck so I am in it for hours on end and recently days on end. I have had CF up and running the whole time and its been flawless. I would hit a wifi area and check the weather (although, what would be really awesome to do is have a button to load the radar with animation, that would be SUPER usefull), and be on my way.

If I were to try and think of things that it doesnt have that would be very usefull, its a very short list. One would be the radar with animation, and the other would be to revise the mappoint pluggin.

I know its been said many times the mappoint plugin is not really complete but most of what ive read about that states that were in posts that date back to june and july of 07. I bought the SE version and used the mappoint maps from SD which works and it shows my GPS location on the map and it will get me to my destination but thats only if i follow along and pay very close attention to the map since it doesnt reroute, does not verbally announce the upcoming turns or display any direction. Its very primitave and for the most part useless. I bought SE knowing this so im not complaning but would love a revamp of it and im sure it will be much easier to convert the SD users since they also already own the mappoint maps.

Overall, i aboslutely love the program and could even ramble on a bit more but my fingers are tired. Sorry for the long post but I could not help but post my gratitude after using CF 50 hours the last 3 days.

Thanks

thanks for choosing Centrafuse!

after use just make a post with your suggestions and requests, we will look into them...

We mainly focus on our Destinator navigation solution... We have included the MapPoint plugin source code in the latest SDK available for free on our website... This is so someone can work on the MapPoint plugin if they have time to get to it before we do...

We have LOTS of new improvements coming in the next 1.48 update on our way to our next official release 1.50, stay tuned!

david
