Volume On Lowest, Yet Too Loud For A Conversation?

I have a volume issue and not sure to fix it, other than turning my amps down but then I can't get full use out of my amps if I crank it up. At the lowest possible volume, it's still a little too loud for people to have a conversation in my car. It not blaring, but I ened up having to turn the volume off to talk inside the car. I've turned the pre-set and WAV volume down, but it's still too loud. I never had this problem with my old headunit, so I'm hoping it might be a software problem where I can possibly adjust it in the XML file? Any help is appreciated!!

Nope, I haven't tried that. Is that something to enable in CF or in XP?

Thanks!

Centrafuse of course...

You have to click "setting", "General", and then pag. 2/3
In this page you have to enable "logarithmic volume".

bye,
pijo.

I take it you have the PC sound going into an aux socket on your headunit?

If so, there might be an aux input level you need to adjust in your headunit settings.

Also adjust the volume in the mixer panel. You can reduce the second slider over as that one adjusts the sound output from CF. The other main slider adjusts the system volume. I have mine set to my SpaceNavigator adjusts the windows volume level (main in CF) and with logarithmic enabled, you get a big jump from 0 to about 50% then smaller more precise adjustment from 50-100%.

He's running straight into amps, and doesn't want to turn down the sensitivity:
