External App window too big??

Howdy folks

I've managed to get an external app running on centrafuse, but when I start it, the window goes full screen, just like it would when you start it with windows. I'd prefer it to stay constrained within the centrafuse window. Is this possible???

Hi srthomas01

It may be in your setup of the external app. Open your app in windows and see what name windows assigns to it. Then open up your settings for the app in centrafuse. This is where you put in the name of the app, the app location, app parameters, and window name. Make sure the window name is what windows calls the program.

I have had this issue before, and it was usually because I was using what I thought was the windows name, but in fact windows assigns a slightly different name to it.

Good Luck!

I had a problem with iGuidance where I was using it outside of CF and had it full screen. When I went back in and started it form the plug-in it didn't fit correctly. I needed to exit out and put it back to regular windowed mode (not full screen) and it fit fine again.
