Are you on 1.47 as well? There have been issues in the past with the effects, but 1.47 cleared them for me.

I'm using 1.47.

I would like to know what kind of playier it's used in CF appllication and if it is possible optimize the player in order to reduce the CPU Usage.

CF is acting as a frontend to the stock WMP libraries. "Some" additional CPU overhead could be expected for CF doing it's own stuff in the background (like managing a network connection or a bluetooth device) but it "shouldn't" be pegging the CPU.

Which Media Player are you running? 9, 10 or 11?

I'm using WMP11.

bye,
pijo

try to not use the visuals and see if they are the cause...

you can delete the files from the Visuals sub folder to remove visuals, then they will not load in Centrafuse...

Ok, I'll try... but if this will resolve the cpu usa issue while playing mp3, doesn't resolve the problem while playing video clip. In fact, for video clip encoded with high compression level (more than mpeg 1) occur that the video strem remain back respect audio stream and sometimes the application stops to respond.

The same video clips played without centrafuse doesn't cause these problems.

bye,
pijo

I've deleted the visuals, and the CPU usage while playing mp3 files is drastically reduced; noe the CPU usage is near 12%, 15%.

unfortunately the problem about video clips stills remain...

bye,
pijo.

will look into the video clips...

you might also be able to add back the visuals one at a time, maybe one will not use as much CPU for you...
