Question Newbie, New Jack & All That. Heeeeelllppppppp

What's good people? I see there's App/windows name for embedding Street Atlas 2004, well what about 2008, is it the same minus or plus using 2008 instead of 2004. Used liquid studio xml to embed 2008 into the config xml, but no go. It shows up in Centrafuse nav setup but I don't even get a try to out of the prog. I like Centrafuse and would love to continue to use it. Already had 2008 before I started to read the forum and find out how much off a pain in the aztec it is to get working in Centrafuse. Anyway can anyone help a brotha out. Or I'm I, bleeped, and just need to invest in iguidance or mappoint. Please tell me it ain't sooooooo. One other thing DVD's not playing either. Works fine when running in PowerDVD 5 or windows media player, but not when it's run thru Centrafuse only audio. Have read other inquiries on the subject but haven't seen one with an answer. If I missed it please point the kid in the right direction. I've had better luck with street deck getting dvd to work but I like the setup & look of Centrafuse better. Thanks newbie needs ubie help.

ummm... so, am I right in thinking that basically you're looking for the Window title for Street Atlas 2008?

Try "Street Atlas". It's not case dependent, and you don't need the year.

Continued help needed

Thanks for the info. I'm at work right now but will try that as soon as I get home. I fixed the dvd thing install the ff show codec here's the site for anyone who might need it. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm. Not really sure if that's what did it but after install no problems play dvd's. Now the problem is no sound for my music files. Hey, I know, like I told you newbie. I have two sound cards install, switched back & forth between them still nothing. Any suggestion anyone? Here's an aside everything works in streetdeck but not centrafuse. Audio was working in both one day then only SD the next. Like I said DVD in CF works but not music. Help

Thanks everyone.

Here's the funny thing Veetid, you're correct, there wasn't any sound coming from either of the audio formats. The video formats were fine & yes the elasped time was showing for both. Remember how I said the funny thing, well here it is. I have a couple of Front-enders installed, trying them all out to see what's what. I have Streetdeck, Centrfuse & Digitaldash installed. Then I read a little bit about Roadrunner & decided to install that as well. After that install everything was well in the universe. Don't know what happened or how it happened. I don't remember uninstalling anything or erasing any drivers. Don't know. I'm just going to do a fresh windows install and try each by it's self decide which one I enjoy best & go from there. Thanks alot everyone I'm sure I'll be asking for more help. Be prepared.
