How to change the offset for Custom Embedded Applications (eg. iGuidance)?

I've been having problems embedding iGuidance v4 with the CFiG tool, so I decided to embed the application manually by going into settings and manually adding iguidance.exe

However, now it looks ugly since some parts of the iguidance window are not cropped off, as shown in the attachment. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to cut that stuff off? Maybe there is a way to change the offsets (I think thats what its called)?

Ok, so after messing around with the Aura skin.xml file, I managed to trim off the sides and the bottom by changing the <EXTERNALAPPS> settings to this:

<EXTERNALAPPS>
<X>0</X>
<Y>100</Y>
<WIDTH>848</WIDTH>
<HEIGHT>310</HEIGHT>
<FULLX>0</FULLX>
<FULLY>0</FULLY>
<FULLWIDTH>846</FULLWIDTH>
<FULLHEIGHT>490</FULLHEIGHT>
<APPX>-15</APPX>
<APPY>49</APPY>
<APPWIDTH>878</APPWIDTH>
<APPHEIGHT>290</APPHEIGHT>
<FULLAPPX>0</FULLAPPX>
<FULLAPPY>50</FULLAPPY>
<FULLAPPWIDTH>848</FULLAPPWIDTH>
<FULLAPPHEIGHT>428</FULLAPPHEIGHT>

Now I cant figure out how to trim off the top. The top menu bar is there no matter what I try changing the values to.

Is there a fullscreen view that cuts off the menu bars inside IG itself?
If so, choosing that then exiting and reruning it may work.

Thanks, I'll try that at home today. I think that would require different parameters for the skin.xml file though. I dont know if the fullscreened ig4 can even be resized, but ill try.

One problem with running ig4 fullscreen would be that if I were to load ig4 separate outside of CF (accidentally or whatever) then it would take up the whole screen and I have no way of pressing "F" to un-fullscreen and close it because I dont have a keyboard.

I should also mention that ig4 doesnt embedd if I use a skinned .exe file (the one you gave me, punky)

Ok, the fullscreen idea doesnt work. CF will just revert back to normal size iGuidance when I leave the navigation and go back to it again.

I'm currently using these skin.xml parameters for 800x600 CF resolution:

<EXTERNALAPPS>
<X>0</X>
<Y>100</Y>
<WIDTH>848</WIDTH>
<HEIGHT>310</HEIGHT>
<FULLX>0</FULLX>
<FULLY>0</FULLY>
<FULLWIDTH>846</FULLWIDTH>
<FULLHEIGHT>490</FULLHEIGHT>
<APPX>-15</APPX>
<APPY>49</APPY>
<APPWIDTH>878</APPWIDTH>
<APPHEIGHT>318</APPHEIGHT>
<FULLAPPX>0</FULLAPPX>
<FULLAPPY>50</FULLAPPY>
<FULLAPPWIDTH>848</FULLAPPWIDTH>
<FULLAPPHEIGHT>428</FULLAPPHEIGHT>

The picture of what this looks like is attached. This is with the UMPC version because I find the normal version too hard to use on a small screen. I deliberately cut off the bottom row with the speed, ETA, dest... to make more room.

Now I am wondering if maybe someone knows how to cut off the part I shaded in red. It's actually useable now, but I would rather have some more room.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Set APPY=0, but the other height parameters will need some fine tuning.
