centrafuse - how long does it last?

i am thinking of buying centrafuse the XLE version but it is a lot of money, my main concern is that i will have to keep paying for map updates/software updates.

once i pay £299 for centrafuse XLE does the nav program last forever?

the nav program will last forever... if eventually you want map updates those can be purchased, but it will be a market price and reasonable...

there have been many updates to centrafuse since i paid for it. but haven't had to fork out extra money for these updates. though i don't think any of these have included updated maps.

i would pay for a MAJOR update though, i find centrafuse worth every cent. its fast, it looks good and best of all i hardly have any issues with it. couple bugs but being worked out atm with an update.

Correct.

And further down the road, It's been David's (Mr. CF) policy to not make money on maps, only to pass on the cost that the Destinator folks charge him per set.
