edit: Deleted phone from gui. went through cf. paired phone, but still wants to use headset. think that might be the downside to blackberry. it is on most of the bt stuff. only one i know it works on is SD.....can't win for losing. lol

It shouldn't matter if the dongle is plugged in or not during install. After installing, does the "Bluesoleil 6.0.221.0" software show up in your Add/Remove Programs list in Windows? I think your bluetooth install is failing.

I think I am confused when you say "still wants to use headset". Do you mean that your blackberry is connecting to your headset before CF can connect to it? Also, let me check, we may not support the headset profile, and as far as I know, blackberry's only have the headset profile, not the handsfree profile. Could you verify for me if your blackberry has the handsfree profile available, and not jsu the headset profile?

I don't know if this is related but my phone (Nokia N80) is using the headset profile. I've successfully connected and was also able to place a call.

Hey smeesseman,

I've got the same issue. And yes, I already had another Bluesoleil Version running on this Computer before (wasn't licensed) but deinstalled it before installing CF...

Should there be a valid license for Bluesoleil which comes with CF?

Greets,

morten

Just found a post from David regarding this. It says there is no valid licence for Blusoleil included, so the 5MB Limitation is normal for this release. It will be included in the final 2.0 version...

3 issues with phone

Hey there.
Love the new CF. Just a quick reply on testing the phone

I got the phone to work (Nokia N95) Can make calls. (Nobody call me yet, so that I don’t know)

At the Bluetooth pgr. in windows (classic vive) I’m able to read the contacts, but not in CF.. is it a bug ore it just not finished yet.

Second. After hibernation, the phone is not connecting properly. I can see that the Bluetooth is searching for my phone and a short flash of a headset is appearing, but it does not connect to the phone after hibernation. If I restart the PC and start CF it’s connecting again to the phone. So it seems to be an issue on resume after hibernation… (Reconnect does not help)

Third. When calling, the call screen appear on the middle of the screen (that’s ok), but goes away after a short while. I believe that is must stay there until U disconnect. Otherwise U can go to another picture, and then when disconnecting the phone U have to go back.

Sorry. I’m not able to explain more. Go away to Singapore for work for some month.

Cheers

Tested it some more. After 2nd hibernation there com’s a “no parking’ sign for the phone. It’s only after the first hibernation after a reboot where CF tries to connect and flash the “headset”

Cheers

Please Enable log in Phone Settings, reproduce the issue, and then post the Bluetooth/bluetooth.log in the Centrafuse users directory.

That is normal, it should go away when the call is active. Simply touch the main title to go back into phone screen to use the hang-up button.

I don't use a headset. CF will only give me that option.

Blackberry's are tempormental beasts. Chances are you're not going to be able to support them. A computer can't see a hands free profile in them, but they do have it.

It's hard to explain. Anyway, CF is looking better.....you're getting there! Just not able to work for me YET.

Nope, file is there in the system32 directory.

Thinking about it again, are you referring to the 5MB data limit and bluesoleil asking for a serial? You never mentioned the 5MB limit message so probably not, but just want to make sure.

No, the bluetooth tray icon would open a bubble saying it needed a serial. I got around that. Just keep trying to open CF and it finally works.

My PC with Broadcom/Widcomm stack (IBM Thinkpad) sees the audio gateway on my 8830, but BlueSoliel in CF2 doesn't...
