As an update:

I uninstalled CF v2.00.508 and downloaded v1.2. I have no problems running v1.2. So, I upgraded to v2 again. It won't work again. It loads with no problem, but that's it. Nothing works on it.

I did notice that the splash screen/loading status window is staying open on it. If I Alt-Tab, you can see the icon for that window. The loading screen is sitting at "Initializing Audio". I manually closed that window by switching to it, then using the Alt-F4 key. Still no go.

I did find out that I can close CF v2 by hitting Alt-F4 (instead of using the task manager. Also, the Day/Night button works on it. That's the ONLY button that seems to do anything.

When I go through the setup "wizard", I can't set anything and actually have to use the Task Manager to close Centrafuse. The windows that come up to set, say, the music directories, get "stuck". If I click any of the buttons on the window, they "light up", but don't do anything.
At the main screen, clicking any of the buttons only causes them to "light up" as well, but again, nothing happens.

I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit on a AMD64x2 system with 2gigs of ram and a 512meg video card if that helps.

Also happens to me (XP Home SP2 on an Infill G4) and apparently a number of other people on here. Hoping for a fix in RC3.

From this thread - http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/gps/...-embedded.html

Use "Garmin Mobile PC" for Window Name...but it doesn't have an OSK...and the Centrafuse one doesn't work with this either.

The simple fix for this is when you do the install, be sure to install the bluetooth as well. This fixes the problem and allows you to run RC2.

I dunno, I've tried installing RC2 on both my desktop and my carpc (neither of which have bluetooth hardware on them, but I made sure to uninstall my old widcomm bt stack) and I'm pretty confident I ran the bluetooth install all 4 times I've tried to install (after clearing out old CF installs, cleaning registry, deleting folders) and I'm still having this problem.

David, here is another bug that I found today. If I mute the music for more than a minute, RC2 crashes.
