RC4 and ipod

I installed RC4 last night and played around with it for a few minutes. I'm going get things setup tonight and wanted to know how iPOD functionality is within RC4.
Also, I cannot get a DVD to play within CF, I'm figuring a codec is required. I'm not sure which version of Win Media Player I have but if I upgraded would those work or should I install windvd, powerdvd, or get something like vlcplayer?
Thanks in advance......

if running XP you will also need to install WinDVD, or another DVD codec...

iPod should work fine, iPod touch and iPhone are not yet supported, and it will only playback MP3 files on your iPod... It can also play unprotected AAC files with a modification you can read about on our forums FAQ...

when you say "work fine" do you mean it works the same as before, or does it browse albums properly now (ie - select artist, see albums, select album, see tracks in album order, instead of all tracks by artist in alphabetical order no matter what)?
