GPS not connecting??

I downloaded the centrafuse 2.0 trial a couple days ago and started to play around with it. So far I have not been able to get centrafuse to recognize my gps dongle. (bu-353). The gpsinfo program that came with the bu-353 recognizes it and seems to be working fine. I transfered the com port and baud rate settings over to centrafuse but it will not lock on to any satellites or show any signs of working at all. Is there some thing I am missing?

make sure to use a COM port lower than 10, such as COM 1-9, also try changing the baurd rate between 4800 and 9600 just to see if it connects...

some users if that does not work have good luck with xPort fixing all issues with that receiver...

Well I tried changing the com port and baud rate settings but I still have the same problem. If I am using the trial version and I don't live in New York or Berlin will the navigation in centrafuse even work?

you should be able to see the arrow turn green, and see altitude, as well as current number of locks sats if you click it and toggle info screen in navigation...

if you still have this issue, check the Flux forums release section for the latest 2.1 release, it was put out today...

it has improved code for GPS connectivity...

Just downloaded and installed CF trial...same issue. Does the receiver have to be connected when the software is installed or can you hook it up afterwards? Sorry for the newbish questions and old thread bump. BTW the receiver works fine for CoPilot set at 9600 on COM3...tried changing to these settings but no luck. Thanks.

lr3guyjoe can only hope to improve
I was having the same issue. I tried xport and that fixed it. But the lag is a bit bothering. My BU-353 is com 3 and I have xport setting it to com 7 and in Cf Im reading com 7 at 57600 or what ever the top one is.
