I think you just install it to the Windows Media Player directory, then rename the Foobar player to wmplayer.exe...

Use BabelFish

First of all, download Foobar2000.
Install it as shown above.

1. Choose the portable type of installation.

2. Empty the folder C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\ and use this folder as destination folder for installing Foobar2000.

3. After installation is complete, go to that folder and rename foobar2000.exe to wmplayer.exe.

4. Run Centrafuse. Now you can enjoy playing DTS and FLAC media.

I couldn't get this to work...
Testing on my desktop (Win7) using the WASAPI.dll to bypass Windows Mixer, but CF is outputting thru a different media device, not the 'default' Windows Media Player/Foobar...

CF must use it's own media player??

perhaps win7 does have a changed output-system ... not the k-mixer anymore?

but i've read somewhere that cf doesn't use wmp for output but something like bass.dll?
if it would use wmp you could use asio-plugin for wmp ... but this doesn't work either..

But you must know that this most users do not need...
What is your problem with kmixer?

That is, it will not affect the audio whatsoever, as long as the volume is set to 100% and only one application is playing audio.

Kmixer does not convert the sample rate of the audio unless streams of different sample rates are being mixed simultaneously. When this occurs, all audio streams of lower sample rates are sample-rate converted to the highest sample-rate being mixed. The stream with the highest sample rate is never converted.
