How to get Centrafuse to detect internet?

So I'm running WiMAX in Atlanta using CLEAR - it's 4G. It's a USB stick that shows up as a LAN connection (not Wireless LAN - so no Wireless connection manager can use it as such). This connection device will not show up in the DUN or WiFi setup in Centrafuse (because it's neither!). So....

How do I get Centrafuse to know that I do have internet? Or am I screwed in that Centrafuse will only use DUN and WiFi devices?

Centrafuse 2.1.1215
WinXP SP2

It should show it as a internet connection via the LAN, if that's what it simulates.

Trouble is there are a few ways of detecting if there is internet access. One is via tools provided by MS but I found them sometimes to be flaky another way is to test for a domain, such as www.google.com, but that can be slow and the website you check for could be down but there is still internet access.

Well I have the manager connect to the internet upon Windows startup. When it's connected, it has an internet IP and it's just like you plugged in a cable modem into your ethernet port in the back of the machine. I then launch Centrafuse, but I can't get it to know that there is internet, even though there is. If I close Centrafuse I can browse the net so the connection is definitely there. I just assumed Centrafuse didn't know it was connected because in its eyes, I have no devices configured as such in its settings.

No, just the onboard LAN (unused) and the WiMAX LAN connection that is created/used when connected to 4G.
