hrmm if you are using msnbc then you are using weather.com just indirectly all of msnbc's info comes from them

Wouldn't it be better to use PNG images rather than GIF images, so they blend better with the background?

good idea... still working on the weather screen... It hasn't gotten much attention latetly... Most of the descriptions dont' fit either, which is frustrating... kinda out of room... I will spend more time working on it later... I like those images though... Make me up a set of images that cover everything in the weatherimages folder in png format and send them over... I will use them...
