Video-Bug in Centrafuse 1.1
Hi,
when in playback of an avi-video-file, the performance of the video-playback is very poor.
The video is "bucking" - i hope the word is correct, should be the opposite of smooth.
The same video-file playes very smooth on the same machine when played in centrafuse 1.0 or windows media player.
Any hints ?
- Stefan

Here some more details,
i reinstalled centrafuse, reinstalles all my codecs, but still the same behaviour.
The videos work fine in windows media player, but are really slow in centrafuse.
*edit*
Just checked the DVD playback within centrafuse, there are the same sympthons like in avi-files, but it is a little smoother than the aviīs.
But it is still far away from the dvd running on the same machine using power dvd. i used a dvd of last ryder cup because there is plenty of motion in it, but in centrafuse tigerīs swing looks broken just like mine.

not sure what could have changed... I didn't change much of the dvd/video code for this release... I am looking into it, but I don't think its SP2, because you said it works with CF 1.0...

Hi,
used the sunday to test something... i did a complete reinstall, this time i installed windows xp without sp2.
only installed the drivers for my board (epia m10000), divx and the files required by centrafuse. (dx9, dist. dx9, .net)
The video is still bucking, but it is a little better than under sp2, but still slower than with centrafuse 1.0.
any hints ?

this problem is confusing me.... I just compared all my video code from 1.0 to the 1.1 version and there are no major differences at all.... I even put the 1.0 video code inside of 1.1 and my avi's were still a little jerky... There is something I can't find yet, but I am looking....

Hi,
the deeper i look, the more it confuses me. On my system the visualisation "geiss...." are running much much slower than with cf 1.0.
Nearly every 0.5 seconds the visualisation hangs.
Any ideas ?

Really nice program however I get the 'bucking' too.
Really bad with MPEG4 and MPEG2 encoding.
Better with SVCD and WMV.
Running Win 2000 SP4.

Hi,
iīm going nuts. On my system, video playback with cf 1.11 is slower than with 1.1. But... itīs okay for me... i hereby declare video in a car as an useless feature... so i donīt need it anymore ;-)

I've got no problems at all with videos, mpg1, 2 4. but I noticed a thing
most videos have an audio level extremely different from the audio volume in mp3, so I upper the volume in the video section very often. then when I return in audio mode I got shocked by the volume wolud be nice to "remember" the different volume levels in dvd, video and audio and restore the volume each time I jump in a different section (video, audio or dvd)
