Our you using a touchscreen? If so is the "click on touch" option selected in your touchscreen setup?

OriginalNick2: If you disable it does it fix the problem though? So I can know if it was causing the problem....

Also... There is no reason for right click in CENTRAFUSE and my goal is to have CENTRAFUSE the only app you run in your car.... Once my external Apps support is included, no reason to go back to the desktop. My main goal is to have it run an XPe anyway...

Yes you can... your touchscreen drivers rightclick is holding your finger on the icon for about 1sec.

I could reproduce this strange volume problem on my carpc too.

If you tap on the +/- buttons then everything works normal.
If you hold down the + button so the volume rises a few percentages then it will auto-rise to 100%, click - button a few times and the volume starts to live its own life. Even closing centrafuse does not help the windows volume bars will go up/down all the time. Reboot fixed problem.
So tapping is the workaround till the bug is fixed.

Bokky: I think this has something to do with your touchscreen drivers or setup. See if you can re-produce the problem using a mouse. I can't re-produce this probem so I don't know what to fix... I have tried everything to make it happen on multiple machines, all using a mouse, and can't re-create. It also works fine with my touchscreen, but I have mine setup to act just like a mouse... no extra features enabled... all right click stuff disabled... all "click on tap" disabled... Everything set to normal...

I can reproduced it now with a normal mouse! but it is indeed rightclick related

-rightclick on + and hold it in
-wait till it is 100%
-while still holding right button in, click also on your left button
-now try to lower the volume with -, it will always rise again up to 100%
-try to get the volume way down, then the volume will start jumping.

With touch screen it goes much easier then this bit I hope this helps you a bit...

Yes I know David that right-click is not needed, but I can not disable rightclick with my touchkit application (or can I do it in windows somewhere?). So when I hold down the button it switches to rightclick automaticly.
I think it is a good idea to disable rightclick possibility on your application for the next releases.

dont think its hardware related as the volUp and Vol Down buttons (bottom Left) dont work at all - its not just the slider

Also the slider in windows volume manager plays up,

very strange

I had the same problem, but found that disabling the "hold for right click" feature on my Xenar Touchkit driver solved 100% of the problems I was having... Now if I could just get CF to read all the !#@$ing artinst info correctly from the ID3 data...
