Phone Control with Razr

Has anyone used Phone Control with the Motorolla Razr V3 phone - i can't seem to get the BT Serial service from the phone???

oh, i was browseing around and found this. I dont know if this is your issue with the razor but it could be.

Hi there, I have a V3 Razr as well and PhoneControl seems to work fine, i have tried it through usb as well as the data cable which came with the phone.

are you using bluetooth with it or just the cables, can you PM your config file from phonecontrol

V3 razr wont work through bluetooth. as it only supports a single bluetooth connection at any one time.. so you will be able to read your phonebook etc.. but wont be able to use it as a headset as well.. as this would need a second bluetooth connection.

soory i meant bluetooth and cables, i will send you the config file on monday as my car has gone for a service and i will not be picking it up until sunday.

hey surfd90, have you tried connecting your phone to your pc without PhoneControl?
You may just not have the correct port number.
RightClick on the bluetooth icon in your system tray (windows) > Explore My Bluetooth Places (thats if your using widcomm drivers, i hope you are)
find your phone, pair it if you have to and connect the bluetooth serial port, if that works then you are good. note the port number and use that in the config file for PhoneControl

I think zorro mentioned that sonyericsson phones support multiple BT connections

Got it working - edited the PC xml file and using DUN vs SPP made it work. Thanks for the replys...
