I thought about that, but I disabled all powermanagement on the installation of the OS. Just to be doubly sure, I checked it just a bit ago, and there is no option.
I'll keep things posted as I find them out. I'll be driving some today, so we'll see how it goes. I reinstalled my USB drivers just to see...

Here's something interesting. I've noticed I can't get the touchscreen to disconnect or lose it's reliability, while being tested in the house. However, once the exact same setup is in the car, the touchscreen absolutely refuses to work through CF sometimes.
I began to wonder about something, and ran a simple purity test on the electricity in the house, and the electricity running out of the inverter.
In the house it's running at a solid 118v AC @ 60.00hz.
In the car it's a variable 108-112v AC @ 60.70 (and a few times a spike to 68hz)
I wonder if that has something to do with it at all. Not a thing is different, whether it's in the car or the house, except the electricity; not even a thermal change. I'll be seeing if I can make the electricity more stable, and change the outcome.

I have not had anymore problems with this in a while. What fixed it was placing my USB cable that runs to my front hub, into one of the USB 1.1 ports on my computer, instead of in the USB 2.0 port. I then have a USB 2.0 hub that the TS plugs into. It seems to be working perfect now. It will occasionally mess up, but not near like it did before. Now most of the time I can unplug it, and then it will run correctly again.
Hope this helps anyone else.

I'll have to see if that's possible for mine. I don't use a hub for mine, mine runs right to the USB port on the computer itself.
To my knowledge, all the ports on my new motherboard are 2.0 =( I'll check though. Thanks for the post!

I'm using CF 1.2 and I also have the same issue with the touchscreen going out. I'm using a Xenarc screen in a custom enclosure.....man was I ****ed when I thought it was a defective unit. Good to hear others know of this issue.

I think you are the first to have this problem with a xenarc unit, we was thinking about driver problems but if the xenarc hangs too...

I've ran into this problem quite a few times and it's only when I'm using MS Streets and Trips 2005 embedded in Centrafuse. Sometimes when I go to click the zoom-in button of MSSAT 2005 it will not work. What's weird is that the TS stills works with Centrafuse itself until I press the Exit button. When I press the Exit button it will usually freeze Centrafuse/the computer, the only fix is a hard reboot.
I haven't had any issues with the TS while running MSSAT 2005 by itself so it leads me to think that there may be a bug in Centrafuse.
