@David

How about supplying mp3car.com members with a license for CF at a discount and then free updates. Might stop the moaners ;-)

That doesnīt sound fair for me, as this community did really much testing on centrafuse and offered several ideas for new features.

Just my 2cents...

i do second that, atleast a proper fix for Mapmonkey mapmovement.

superbowl: When I refer to the next release I am talking about 1.2, which will be out very soon and include my own integrated Destinator 3 and tons of bug fixes reported by everyone. I have made many references to my upcoming 1.2. The 2.0 stuff won't start till my BETA testing is over... Updates and release are coming soon

Tuned Vitesse: I will be giving free updates to all my single user license customers of CENTRAFUSE and once finished there will be an initial discount for mp3car users for the first month it is released. It is going to be very affordable, probably the cheapest thing you will have to buy for your whole carputer...

Greetoz: The map monkey movement problem is related to the D3 SDK not liking layered windows. I don't think I am going to change the way my entire external apps section works to faciliate the D3 SDK short comings, which there are plenty of. I tried and I can make NM D3 work, but it isn't good for every other single external app out there. Instead I have just built in my own integrated Destinator support, which will be included in the next release coming soon. I am almost finished and have it running very nice. I finally got all the dialogs to embed no matter how they are loaded, so it has an even more integrated feel than anything I've seen...

PS: the Danish language file has been done for weeks, was just hoping that some of my friends would look it through, but I guess not ... itīs in the mail in a few days.

ok thats great news then i thought we had to wait months before we could use centrafuse with destinator. will you're destinator also have speedcam detection? thats on of the main reasons i'm using Mapmonkey, i catch myself speeding to often btw are you using the SDK? now? just like mapmonkey? is that the same as you will use for 2.0? bit confused how that will be

btw i really love you're software and personlly i think its gonna be the best car frontend out there, and because of that i don't really mind to pay

hope to see the next release soon as i'm getting a new screen and harddisk next week , (old ones broke but got them replaced under warrentee)

SOS: You will not have to buy Destinator from me.. After talking with Powerloc I am just going to include Destinator 3 support in CENTRAFUSE PRO, it will be in the next BETA also... All you will need is the PC version of Destinator 3 installed and it will work... It is suppose to be finished in a couple of weeks... You will be able to test Destinator 3 functionality in my next BETA release, if you have the SDK and sample maps... CENTRAFUSE won't include any Powerloc software, but will just work if it's installed/setup on the system...

I might become a reseller for Powerloc and sell Destinator 3 on my website and also sell a bundle of CENTRAFUSE PRO and Destinator 3, but they will always be seperate softwares and installed seperately...

I plan on adding the speed alerts, but they won't be in this upcoming release... I haven't even checked them out to see how they work yet, so I am not sure what all is involved...

Hi David,

this - and the release of mapmonkey - is the best news of the past weeks ;-)

camsgs3: Do you mean a skinning tool? Because you can skin CENTRAFUSE now with photoshop and a text editor (alot easier if you use an good xml program, since the structure is pretty big). If I build a skinning tool it probably won't be until after 2.0...

camsgs3: Gotcha.... I like all those ideas... They won't be in the next upcoming BETA release, but I do plan on adding some type of this functionality...

GReeToZ: Don't expect Map monkey to work in the next version coming up... It will probably still suffer from the map freezing problem... I will look into figuring something out, but the current fix I have for it makes things worse for every other single app you would possibly embed... It would be a fix specifically just for map monkey.. I finished my integrated D3 last night... It has all the functionality of Map Monkey, except I haven't finished speed cam support, voice recognition, and output to character LCD's... All these will be finished soon though... I will probably release the new BETA this weekend...
