I have done a test run and it looks and works great.
I only did run into the problem that the GPS is not working properly.

The problem is that the update of the coordinates is slow or wrong.
The speed indications seems work ok.
The setting are on my setup com2,4800

If i use the same settings in Freedrive, Mappoint or Alturion it works ok.

I am running off GPSTools using the GPS simular from my NMEA logs to test it.. I don't have that problem it is updating fine, though I found sometimes in the 3D view the 'wheel' is below the menu, pressing the (i) button a few times sorts it though.

Downloading right now!

The previous version was a bit (well, quite a bit) slow on my MII12k, any chance of improvements on that front?

nice work david, now i can shut down frodosatelite, go to the homepage, and then reload it when i click on radio....as long as frodo's app doesnt crash....

If we cant figure out the glitch that keeps his satelite app from resuming, anyway there could be a hotfix that automatically kills his xm app before hibernation?

Having a problem with it reading all of my songs.

I have built the database by using the ID3 reader in my car, it came back and told me that it found 9559 files. I then go into Music and it only shows that there are 1356 files in the Right hand corner. Is this correct? I just ran this new version on my laptop, which also has the same 9559 songs on it. CF came back and stated that 1356 files found, when running the ID3 Reader.

Is anyone else running into this?

Thanks,
Bryan

That is an error related to MDAC and the Database... Try installing MDAC 2.8 from the link on my website under more info and see if it fixes it...

My latest speed enhancments didn't get finished in time, but will be in the next release... It involves a re-do of the original way I did my skinning, which is currently pretty inefficient... 1.3 will include a new skin layout and design, which should drastically add more performace to the app and have the finialized layout for all the skinners... It will be coming sooner than you think ... I just am throwing 1.2 out there to get bug feedback and get the testing started on the few new options, mainly the Destinator 3...

David, I still see a massive redrawing coming back from fullscreened external GPS app, is your new skin layout going to fix it? oh and by the way, great job but do not forget the keyboard in external application and the video aspect ratio and the dvd language selection I think it's all for now eheheheh

Frankino: My new layout and skin design should fix all the redraw problems and also drastically increase performance... It's been in the works, but just not ready for release just yet... Also... All the features you mentioned are in my list of things to do... I haven't forgotten

Veetid,
Here is the Error that I got when I tried to Install the Mdac 2.8.

MDAC 2.8 RTM
Microsoft

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Issue Description:

MDAC 2.8 RTM is incompatible with this version of Windows. All of its features are currently part of Windows.

Contact Information:

Any Ideas on this? I am running Windows XP SP2, with every available Update done from Windows Updates. I also have C++ 6 SP6 Installed, Installshield DevStudio 9, and quite a few other programming Programs. Any Idea why I get this error?

Thanks,
Bryan
