Ok, sent it again, this time to the other address. In the meantime I've also re-installed DirectX 9, Managed DirectX, MP3 codec, as well as uninstalled/reinstalled Centrafuse. Still not resolved.

got the file and played with cf
no problems at all
no jittlers or speed up / down
correct lengh displayed
no problems at all
can it be a software issue? maybe audio drivers or something similar?
p.s. for those whit the erratic mp3 padding, I found that mp3tag studio has a mp3 repair section, it fix vbr issue and other things, I think that if the problem is in the padding it ca fix it

I had the same exact problem right after I installed the Ace mega codec pack, as soon as I uninstalled the codec pack, everything went away... Its the codecs, check 'em out.

Good call!
I had the "Nimo Codec Pack" installed; I had previously reinstalled the codecs and still had the issue - I just uninstalled it and everything plays a-OK now! =)

Werd. I'll be riding up to New Haven on 95 in a couple of minutes.. lol
I'm looking forward to a NY-area meet when it gets warmer out - provided I ever get my car back, and complete the installation!
Peace!

Ive always had this same problem.. I too have the Ace Mega Codec Pack installed.. What exactly do I need to do/uninstall to get CF to properly play MP3's?

Uninstall the entire codec pack and them put eh pack in if u need to but use the custom install, only install the codecs that are truely needed... mainly video. The ace codec is too many codec, for the average person.
What I do is resorted to other codecs, and installed them one by one. Xvid and Divx is a start.
