david I was wondering if you could try to embed an overlay application (maybe dscaler) into cf v1.3, I'd like to know if the graphical change fix the problem I've got with 1.2
if it does not fix, I'll be glad to know before cf 1.3 being release so I can start to develop a dscaler frontend myself (well, not exactly myself
I hope you can help me
thank you

Frankino: I don't believe that will be neccessary. All your graphical problems with CF should be resolved in my new version... 1.3 is pretty much a rewrite from the ground up...
The next version will be worth the wait... I promise...

1.
request: please make the size of the on screen keyboard and setting up windows better be changed according to the selected skin size automaticly
2.
very important: as most of the carpc users are changing to boot their winXP from CF card and using EWF (I am sure you know,it is write protected patition like CD) mode, please please please to have the fuction making all the settings and playlists be directed to save to other disk and directory.
eg.
my CF program is on: C:\Program Files\fluxmedia\centrafuse\
each time it start, it going to search its settings on: D:\fluxmedia\centrafuse\
frist according to a running rule setting included in config.xml
I hope I have make my requst clear, in this way, CF would be the FRIST EWF friendly frontend.
Good luck!

dragonbtv: The OSK and Setup screens are skinned in my next version, so they are sized to the resolution of the skin and look a ton better... The second idea you had is great and consider it done...

Back again just thinking - will 1.3 be more friendly for us UK users with the weather bits that would never work as our zip codes are different to yours...

OriginalNick2: The weather works fine in the UK. You just need the right code... If you go to msnbc.com weather section, enter in your city, then look in the URL for the accid variable... This code is what you need to put into CF and it works for the entire world...
For example London would be UKXX0085

I know I have said it before, but it is worth saying again. XM would make it a slam dunk. I know that many people were drawn to the Carputer idea becuase of XM. We need XM!

Wow David, do is that what I think it is? You've place page up, and page down buttons, along with a up and down, in the music menu?
I've asked you a couple of times now, when will CF have an Equalizer?
